The Founder

I ran for Mayor of Richland Hills in the Spring of 2022, mostly due to personal frustrations over lack of insight and knowledge regarding changes to policy and expenditures on projects.

During my campaign, I spoke to several people who also had the same or similar dissatisfaction with communications and decisions regarding our community. I also learned so much about the residents and history of Richland Hills (I grew up in Haltom City, purchased my RH Home in 2010), and I wanted to restore peoples faith in government and help them engage with neighbors and the city in a meaningful and supportive fashion.

Even though I lost my election bid (8 vote difference), my passion to find answers and learn more about the inner workings of our city did not falter. I founded Richland Hills Responsibly Organized Citizens (RHRocs) to help people find their voice and engage with each other and the city in a positive and productive way.

I hope all residents will find hope in their ability to still make a difference in their own community. Joyce Zuefeldt Fiaccone
